A Hope That Never Fades
My eyes look for something I can't quite see,
A faint hope, a quiet dream inside me.
They notice small things I missed before,
Moments I didn’t really see or explore.
My ears hold onto a voice I once knew,
A gentle memory that feels both old and new.
But my mind softly struggles to bring it near-
A name, a face—something unclear.
My thoughts drift to what’s gone away,
Faint echoes of yesterday.
My dreams tell me what’s deep inside,
Secrets I try not to hide.
My heart feels soft with doubt and fear,
Guided by shadows I don’t quite understand here.
The road I walk each day feels strange and new,
Like I’m lost, but still wishing for something true.
My eyes search quietly for what’s unseen,
For something gentle, somewhere in between.
Though the night feels dark and wide,
I keep hope close, with dreams as my guide.
